Role Description
Own the finance function for a Montego Bay commercial group, from monthly close and reporting through to controls, tax and audit.
Role Responsibilities
Own the month end and year end close and the full set of financial statements.
Produce management reporting, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
Maintain internal controls and improve financial process.
Manage statutory compliance, GCT, payroll statutories and income tax filings.
Lead the external audit and liaise with auditors and bankers.
Supervise and develop the accounting team.
Role Responsibilities
Seven years in accounting with at least three at Financial Controller, Finance Manager or senior level.
ACCA, CPA or a degree in accounting with substantial qualifying experience.
Full ownership of a close cycle and audited financial statements.
Strong ERP or accounting system experience and advanced Excel.
Working knowledge of Jamaican tax and statutory requirements.
