Role Description
Run the housekeeping department for a large resort, accountable for room readiness, cleanliness standards, staffing and departmental cost.
Role Responsibilities
Manage the full housekeeping operation including rooms, laundry liaison and public areas.
Set and enforce room cleanliness and turnaround standards.
Recruit, roster, train and manage performance across a large team.
Control departmental budget, linen, amenities and supply stock.
Work with Front Office on room readiness and release times.
Track and act on guest cleanliness scores.
Role Responsibilities
Six years in hotel housekeeping including three at manager or assistant manager level.
Experience managing a team of thirty or more.
Budget and inventory control experience.
Comfortable with housekeeping management systems and reporting.
Able to work weekends, public holidays and peak season.
