Role Description
Keep the industrial laundry plant running for a large resort, maintaining washers, dryers, ironers and folders so linen supply never breaks.
Role Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial laundry equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, steam and pneumatic faults.
Maintain washers, tunnel washers, dryers, flatwork ironers and folding equipment.
Keep maintenance records, spares inventory and service schedules.
Work with the laundry team to minimise downtime during peak periods.
Follow all plant safety, lockout and chemical handling procedures.
Role Responsibilities
Three years maintaining industrial or commercial laundry equipment, or heavy plant with transferable skill.
Trade certification in mechanical, electrical or refrigeration engineering.
Able to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics.
Understanding of steam systems and boilers is an advantage.
Available for call out when the plant goes down.
