Maintenance Manager

Role Description

Own the maintenance function for a large resort property, keeping rooms, plant and public areas operational, safe and to standard.

Role Responsibilities

  • Plan and run preventive and corrective maintenance across the property.

  • Lead a multi trade team covering electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry and general repairs.

  • Manage response times on guest facing faults and room out of order counts.

  • Control the maintenance budget, spares inventory and contractor work.

  • Maintain plant records, statutory inspections and safety compliance.

  • Support energy and water conservation targets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Six years in building or hotel maintenance including three leading a team.

  • Trade certification in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration or a related field.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance planning and work order systems.

  • Understanding of hotel plant, pools, HVAC and back of house equipment.

  • Available for call out and emergency response.
