Role Description
Own occupational health and safety across a large resort property, keeping the operation compliant and the team and guests protected.
Role Responsibilities
Build, run and audit the property health and safety programme.
Carry out risk assessments across all departments and drive corrective action.
Investigate incidents and accidents and report on root cause.
Deliver safety induction and ongoing training to all staff.
Maintain statutory compliance, records and inspection readiness.
Chair the safety committee and run emergency response drills.
Role Responsibilities
Four years in occupational health and safety, ideally in hospitality, manufacturing or a large site operation.
Recognised OHS qualification such as NEBOSH, OSHA or an equivalent.
Working knowledge of Jamaican occupational safety and health requirements.
Strong report writing and training delivery skills.
Confident holding senior managers to a standard.
